Helene Scheffer – A Journey with Helena Scheffer

Helena will be talking about her evolution as an artist, starting with her very first quilt, and taking us along on her journey. Helena will share photos of her work as it developed and talk about how events in her life impacted her creations.

Using fabric and thread, Helena Scheffer creates art that moves and inspires viewers worldwide. Her award-winning creations can be found in both private and corporate collections in Canada and the US, including Dominion Textiles, the National Quilt Museum and the Texas Quilt Museum. They have been exhibited across North America, Europe, and Australia, and have been published in numerous books and magazines.

Helena is a juried artist member of SAQA (Studio Art Quilt Associates) and Past President of the Lakeshore Artists’ Association.
